Lakewood, Colorado, October 3, 2012 --
The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Foundation announced today their new partnership with Bimini, LLC, a scientific leader and innovator for cat and dog products. The ACVIM Foundation is a non-profit organization that works towards eliminating animal and human disease by supporting discovery, education, and partnerships throughout the global community of medicine. Through the Foundation’s externship program and the work of their parent organization, the ACVIM, they support continuing education for veterinarians and technicians through the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine (JCVIM) and continuing education courses held at their annual ACVIM Forum. The 2013 ACVIM Forum will be held in Seattle, Washington on June 12-15.
Bimini started working with the ACVIM Foundation in 2012 by supporting their fund raising efforts in New Orleans and is continuing this work via the ACVIM Foundation’s website and Facebook page. It is part of Bimini’s company philosophy to give back and support the good work coming out of the ACVIM Foundation to continue advancing veterinary specialty medicine while keeping veterinarians and technicians up to date with the latest developments in the field. Bimini develops cat and dog products based on scientific publications and studies. We produce differentiated products that are targeted to fill existing market gaps and needs. Our goal is to provide cats and dogs with a better quality of life through our products giving us more reason to partner with an organization such as the ACVIM Foundation. “Bimini is very proud to partner with the ACVIM Foundation and support their important education work and initiatives” said Julie Bryant of Bimini, LLC. “Today we are announcing our support to encourage the companion pet community to visit and use the ACVIM Foundation’s Facebook page and website. Visitors will be entered in to a drawing every month and the ACVIM Foundation will announce two winners who will receive a free box of Bimini products of their choice.”“The ACVIM Foundation appreciates the support from our partners to help fund initiatives to help our community. We value our relationship with Bimini and look forward to collaborating with them on future initiatives,” said Roberta Herman, ACVIM CEO.
